FUNDRAISING In the financial year ending 30th April 2010, THE CHILD CARE ACTION TRUST spent approximately £160,000 funding the cost of more than fourty children's attendance at the Charity's CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION Centre. Whenever possible the Charity works with and supports both health and educational departments, yet it receives no funding from any government body. Trustees and parents and our volunteers are constantly fundraising to ensure that the work of the Charity can continue and it is only with this enthusiasm and commitment and with the goodwill and support from local businesses that we can ensure that the CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION Centre can continue helping disabled children in County Durham and the neighbouring Counties of Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Cleveland and North Yorkshire. FUNDRAISING

Below is young Owen in the special hoist (being operated by Kata) that was
kindly donated to THE CHILD CARE ACTION TRUST by Black and Decker for use at the
Charities CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION Centre.
