| WHAT DO WE OFFER? THE CHILD CARE ACTION TRUST offers the following facilities in Conductive Education at it's STEP TOGETHER Centres
MOTHER
/ TODDLER Groups Groups where one parent can stay with the child during the sessions and learn how to adapt Conductive Education to their daily life.
NURSERY
SESSIONS The children can improve their physical and academic skills.
ONE-TO-ONE
SESSIONS For pupils who, we feel, will benefit more from attending one-to-one sessions than they would from attending group sessions.
SESSIONS
FOR CHILDREN OF SCHOOL AGE "After School", "Half day release from School" and "Saturday Morning" sessions for children that attend a mainstream school.
ADVANCED MOBILITY GROUP For children who are walking independently.
HANDWRITING CLASSES To improve the quality of their handwriting.
INTENSIVE
BLOCK PLACEMENTS (venue to be confirmed) Children and parents can travel from a long distance and stay for one to three weeks.
ADVISORY SERVICE Our
staff are
able to visit nursing homes and schools to offer advice to parents, teachers,
carers and assistants.
