| WHAT DO WE OFFER? THE CHILD CARE ACTION TRUST offers high quality Conductive Education delivered by experienced Hungarian Conductors for children that have cerebral palsy, dyspraxia and other 'motor' related disorderts. We offer:
MOTHER / TODDLER Groups (For children between six months and three years of age) Groups for small children where one parent is staying to watch and learn under the supervision of the conductors, which will them help to apply and practice the skills that has been learnt during sessions.
NURSERY SESSIONS (For children between three and five years of age) During the sessions the children will receive both physical and academic programmes delivered by conductors and qualified teachers which will prepare the children to improve physically, socialy and cognitively.
ONE-TO-ONE SESSIONS (For children at any age) For pupils who, we feel, will benefit more from attending one-to-one sessions than they would from attending group sessions. During these sessions we are providing a multisensory approach.
SESSIONS FOR CHILDREN OF SCHOOL AGE (Aged from five to sixteen) The centre offers sessions during and after school hours for children who are attending in mainstream schools. The children will receive conductive programmes (focus on their physical abilities) and life skill programmes (which focuses on their daily living skills). We provide the following group sessions: School groups Advanced mobility groups Handwriting classes
INTENSIVE BLOCK PLACEMENTS (during School Holidays) During the school holidays the centre provides very intensive conductive sessions which are giving the opportunity to come every day for 5-6 hours to improve mobility, academic- and life skills. Provided for those who are not able to attend more than once a week because of school commitments and who are travelling from long distance. Blocks are subject to availability.
ADVISORY SERVICE Our staff are able to visit nursing homes and schools to offer advice to parents, teachers, carers and assistants how to apply conductive education whithin their settings.
TRAINING: we are able to provide training about Cerebral Palsy, Dyspraxia and Conductive Education for schools, parent groups etc. To
